October was a busy month for me, book-wise. First came the Boerne Book and Arts Festival. I spent the day in the romance authors’ tent, meeting readers, signing books, and chatting with my fellow authors. The weather was perfect, and the library staff handed out delicious ice cream bars.
Niko, a family friend of many years whom I call my auxiliary son, came out for the day. He carried boxes, took lunch orders for me and other authors, and kept me company.
Two weeks later, I had a signing at Pecantown Books and Brews. This independent bookstore is located in a lovely old house in historic downtown Seguin.
I’ve got more signings in the works, at Pecantown and Seguin’s Father Christmas Shop, so stay tuned!
