New Saddle for my Barrel-Racing Daughter

My daughter’s been taking barrel-racing lessons, and yesterday she bought herself a good secondhand saddle! Isn’t it beautiful? Today she brought it to the farm and started cleaning and conditioning it.

Our two bossiest farm cats, Violet and Angelina, came over right away to check it out. Violet gave the leather a good sniffing…

…and Angelina settled down under the truck to supervise.

I’m looking forward to seeing the new saddle in use!
