Last week I had my first ever book signing! My first book came out in September of 2020, but of course COVID curtailed in-person events for a long time, so once my third book made it into print, I had A LOT of author copies sitting in boxes in my office closet. The Spring Luncheon of the Seguin Study Club seemed like a good opportunity to sign a few copies. I got to talking with the club president, one thing led to another, and the long and short of it is, I signed and sold around thirty books, with proceeds benefiting the Guadalupe County Children’s Advocacy Center! Because of COVID, the Advocacy Center was unable to hold its usual fundraiser. I’m glad to have been able to help a little, and so grateful to the ladies at the luncheon for their support. I had a lovely time at the luncheon, and it was such fun to sign my books with my fancy purple sparkle pen. Looking forward to more signings, more luncheons, and more partnerships!
